The Redditch Community Boxing & Mentoring Programme (RCBM) offers a unique blend of physical activity, personal development, and emotional support specifically tailored for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), as well as those at risk for exclusion from mainstream schools.
For SEND Schools: Our programme complements academic efforts by addressing physical health and cognitive functions, enhancing social interaction, and boosting overall development. It provides a supportive environment where students can overcome social stigma and build confidence.
Mainstream Schools: We offer early intervention for students at risk of exclusion, addressing behavioural issues, enhancing engagement, and improving academic performance. Our programme also plays a crucial role in reducing knife crime and gang affiliation by providing positive outlets and role models.
Residential Care Homes: Our trauma-informed mentoring and adapted physical activities promote emotional support, physical fitness, and social connections. We work closely with care home staff to ensure our activities align with individual care plans, fostering a sense of community and reducing isolation.
We invite you to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to enrich your students' lives. By partnering with RCBM, you can provide your students with a supportive and stimulating environment that promotes their overall well-being and helps them reach their full potential.
